The Dolce&Gabbana spring/summer 2010 campaign captures the unseen side of Madonna photographed by Steven Klein, inspired by Neorealist Italian cinema, and its iconic depictions of strong, tender and naturally beautiful women.

The campaign - shot in New York City last month - will reveal Madonna’s interpretation of a modern day version of iconic Italian actress Anna Magnani. Madonna was photographed in a domestic setting - intimate, sensual and in constant motion – as if the images were frames from a black and white film.
The resulting photos which will appear in magazines around the globe beginning of January reveal a never before seen side of one of the world’s most famous women.

The intention of Dolce&Gabbana is to recapture a woman’s human side, showcasing through these images how a woman’s femininity and sensuality can be found through the simplicity of daily gestures along with a passion for life.

The new Dolce&Gabbana campaign encourages a woman to cast aside fears of showcasing her femininity because it is where her true beauty resides.

A stunning Madonna attended the premiere of Rob Marshall's ‘Nine’ movie at New York’s Ziegfeld Theatre last night.

Dressed with a glamorous Dolce & Gabbana black dress, our girl kindly posed for photographers while on the red carpet.

Madonna’s ‘Celebration’ single is nominated in the “Best Dance Recording” category at this year’s Grammy Awards. Other nominees in the category include Britney Spears, The Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga and David Guetta.

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will take place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center on January 31, 2010 and will be broadcasted live on CBS.

A brand new Madonna interview will air on UK’s GMTV Monday, December 7th and Tuesday, December 8th.

Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour was the big winner at the sixth annual Billboard Touring Awards, taking home honors for Top Tour and Top Draw, which acknowledge the highest-grossing and highest-attended tours of the year, respectively.

The Billboard Touring Awards are based on worldwide data reported to Billboard Boxscore for the period Oct. 1, 2008, through Sept. 30, 2009. Other winners include Kenny Chesney's Sun City Carnival tour for Chesney's sixth straight Top Package award; Ill Divo for the Breakthrough award, U2 for the Top Boxscore award for the band's shows at Croke Park in Dublin last July, and Dane Cook for the Top Comedy Tour award.

Madonna arrived in Malawi with her family last week-end and attended a very special event the next day.

A ceremony was held in the town of Chinkhota on Monday to mark the start of construction of her foundation’s school for girls, which will be called the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls. The school will open its doors in 2011 and will educate 500 students.

"In all my travels, investigations and conversations the most recurring thing is how amazing Malawian women are, both young and old, how industrious they are and how much they deserve to be educated," Madonna said.

During the ceremony, Madonna planted a tree at the planned site of the school, marking the begining of a project very close to her heart: "If this school is a success - with God-willing it will be - we will replicate it not only in Malawi but in other parts of the world as well".

Madonna met Malawi’s President Bingu wa Mutharika on Tuesday and is to visit orphanages supported by the Raising Malawi foundation during her stay in the country.

My family and I are on our way to Malawi to attend the ground breaking ceremony for Raising Malawi Academy for Girls.

The ceremony will take place on Monday, October 26 at 3:00 p.m. on the future site of the Academy.Our vision for the school is to empower girls to become Malawi's future leaders. Our goal is to teach them to challenge themselves,  serve their local communities and develop their country.

We created this vision in partnership with the local Malawian Ministry of Education, and other educational experts from Malawi, Sub-Sharan African and elsewhere around the world.   We are developing and using innovative educational approaches, cutting-edge architectural design methods, and other modern technologies, which we hope, will become a replicable model for girls secondary school education.Research proves that young girls throughout the developing world are often left without opportunities to receive a comprehensive education and the benefits that education can provide.  

It’s an honor for me to be able to help as many of these girls as I can achieve their dreams.I’m also incredibly proud of all the projects Raising Malawi is involved in and I look forward to visiting a number of them during my visit.

The awards will be presented at a November 5 reception in New York.

The finalists for the Top Tour and Top Draw awards, which acknowledge the top-grossing and top-ticket-selling tours, respectively, are the same three global treks: U2's 360 tour, Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour, and AC/DC's Black Ice tour.
